How these rates are compiled

The weekly Oklahoma MYGA pages are an informational record, not a marketplace. This page explains where the figures come from, how they are checked, and what to do if something looks wrong.

The five commitments

  1. These rates are informational. They are not binding quotes or offers.
  2. Rates and product availability change, sometimes within the same week, and carriers can withdraw products without notice.
  3. Final eligibility, rate, and contract terms can only be confirmed through a carrier-approved quote and application.
  4. Scott Stewart reviews each week's figures against carrier or distributor documentation before publication.
  5. Request current confirmation before acting on any figure shown here.

Sources and rights

Figures come from carrier rate sheets, carrier announcements, and licensed distributor documentation available to appointed agents. Every published row is tied to an internal evidence record that stores the source document, product form number, rate-effective date, verification timestamp, rating source and date, withdrawal provisions, reviewer, and a correction history.

Having a source on file does not by itself grant the right to display it publicly. Each row therefore carries a source-rights status. Rows whose rights are still being confirmed are flagged internally so the source can be confirmed in writing or replaced with carrier-approved, publishable material. Advisor-only portals are never scraped, embedded, mirrored, or framed on this site.

Dates and freshness

Each report is a snapshot for a single week, identified by its week-ending date. That date appears in the page address, the page heading, the PDF download name, the page metadata, and the structured data, so all of them agree.

A new dated page is published each week. Earlier pages stay online as historical snapshots and are labeled that way; their figures are never silently changed. If a report has not been re-verified within 8 days it is marked Update pending instead of being described as current.

What each column means

Term
The number of years the interest rate is guaranteed.
Guaranteed rate
The annual rate credited for the full term. When a first-year bonus applies, the base rate and bonus are shown separately.
Carrier and product
The issuing insurance company and, where recorded, the exact product name and policy form number.
Minimum premium
The smallest amount the carrier accepts for that product and term.
Rating
The financial-strength rating, the rating agency, and the date the rating was checked.
Withdrawal provisions
Plain-language description of penalty-free access, for example "10% free withdrawal per year" or "interest-only withdrawals".
Effective / verified
The date the carrier says the rate took effect and the date and time the row was last checked.
Evidence reference
An internal ID that ties the row to the source document kept on file. Source documents themselves are not published.

Corrections

If a figure looks wrong or out of date, send a note with the week, the term, and the carrier. Confirmed corrections are recorded in the row’s correction history and the report is marked corrected with a visible note; the original snapshot is never overwritten quietly.

Important disclosures

Rates shown are current as of the week indicated and are subject to change without notice. Product and rate availability varies by state and by carrier, and may be withdrawn at any time. Guarantees are backed solely by the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company. Annuities are not bank deposits, are not FDIC insured, and are not guaranteed by any federal government agency. Withdrawals in excess of the contract's penalty-free amount may be subject to surrender charges and market value adjustments, and withdrawals before age 59 and a half may be subject to an additional 10 percent federal tax penalty. This page is for informational purposes and is not a recommendation to purchase any specific product.
